DESCRIPTION: The SIB Game is an innovative and playful methodology that fosters learning about the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) while inspiring the creation of real socio-environmental solutions. Through games, dynamics, and challenges, we engage students, professionals, and communities by connecting theory and practice in a collaborative way. Our focus is to build skills in sustainable innovation, critical thinking, and social impact.
BUSINESS MODEL: SIB Impact operates through a hybrid B2B and B2C model, offering trainings and educational experiences for schools, universities, companies, and civil society organizations. Revenue is generated from sales of SIB Game licenses (physical and digital), facilitator training programs, corporate workshops, and customized consulting in sustainable innovation. The model also enables strategic partnerships for implementing educational programs, expanding both reach and social impact.
SIB Impact, a social innovation startup, took part in Impact Hive, a collaborative event promoted by EY (Ernst & Young) and SAP that brought together 89 professionals from around the world. The initiative aimed to explore strategies to expand SIB Impact’s reach and revenue while tailoring its solution to different segments, such as universities and corporations. The core challenge was: How can SIB Impact scale its solution to reach new segments and markets while staying true to its social and educational mission?
